Dopo 15 giornate, quando ne mancano quindi solamente 4 alla fine, il discorso scudetto è tutt’altro che chiuso: in tre punti ci sono infatti ben sette squadre. Si profila peraltro un duello fratricida fra le due squadre di La Plata, Gimnasia ed Estudiantes che si trovano rispettivamente a 27 e 26 punti. Il Gimnasia ha vinto l’ultimo turno superando l’All Boys per 2-1, mentre l’Estudiantes ha pareggiato a Rosario col Central e si è fatto proprio superare dai rivali cittadini. Vittoria anche per il Boca che grazie ad un bolide di Riquelme ha sconfitto il Tigre a Vitoria. Infine, il River supera il Vélez per 1-0 grazie ad un gol di Teo Gutierrez che sfrutta un errore clamoroso del portiere del Fortin.
